So how much does a catio actually cost?
It depends on the size, the style and how it connects to your home. A compact window catio is a modest job; a walk-in enclosure with runs is a bigger build. Rather than guess with a price list, we give you a quote after the site visit, so the number you see is the number for your build.
Isn't a store-bought kit cheaper than a custom build?
Up front, often, and if you've bought a flat-pack or kit enclosure, we're happy to assemble and install it properly for you. Just know the trade-offs: a kit is a fixed size that rarely fits your space exactly, and its lighter frame and mesh can leave gaps a determined cat will work on. A custom enclosure is measured to your home, built from a solid frame and heavy-duty mesh, and made to last years. We'll give you an honest steer on which makes sense for your place and budget.
Is the quote really fixed?
Yes. The price is agreed in writing before any work starts and it doesn't move unless you decide to change the plan. No hourly meter, no "while we were here" add-ons.
Do you charge for the site visit or the quote?
No. The phone chat, the on-site visit, the measure-up and the written quote are all free and come with no obligation. You only pay if you decide to go ahead with the build.
What's included in the price?
Everything needed to get your enclosure built and standing: the design work, the on-site measure-up, materials, the build and install, and a proper tidy-up before we leave. There are no hidden line items, your written quote spells out exactly what's covered, so the agreed figure is the figure you pay.
Do you take a deposit?
For confirmed builds a deposit books your spot in the schedule and covers materials, with the balance due on completion. We'll spell out the exact terms in your quote so it's all clear before you commit.
Can I spread the cost?
For larger builds we can usually talk through staged payments, just mention it when we call and we'll work something out with you.
How soon could you start?
Once your design and quote are locked in, most catios go up in a day or two on site. Lead time before that depends on the current schedule, send an enquiry for the latest availability.
